Miss Helen - Principal Teacher and Director

With Associate dance qualifications with the BATD in Majorettes and Freestyle, and Membership in Stage, Miss Helen decided to put her qualifications to use and set up Harmony School of Dance in June 2010 after assisting her dance teachers from the age of 12.

She has been dancing from the age of 4 and has experience in Tap, Modern, Majorettes, Disco, Street, Cheer-leading and Rock and Roll.

Also as a fully qualified fitness instructor, Miss Helen offers personal training sessions for all, as well as taking group fitness and dance sessions.

Miss Heather - Assistant Teacher

Miss Heather has also been dancing from a young age. She has been and assistant in dance classes since the age of 14 and is currently attending Caledonian university in Glasgow, studying Therapeutic radiography.

Miss Natasha - Assistant Teacher

Miss Natasha has many year of dance experience and has an Associate Certificate in Freestyle dance, as well as experience in Ballet. She has previously studied a childcare course at college.  

Miss Zoe -Assisstant Teacher

Miss Zoe has many years of dance experience and has her associate certificate in stage dance. She currently teaches adults dance once a week as well with her sisters dance school, My Time Dance Company, as well as coming down every second Sunday to Harmony. She has studied music business at university, gaining an honours degree in the area. 

 Miss Emma - Occasional Teacher

Miss Emma has many years dance teaching experience, as well as her own adult dance classes. She has been taking dance classes from the age of 2 and has certificates from the BATD in Stage and Freestyle. Miss Emma can be seen each year in our show and has assisted at several classes to cover holidays for our other teachers.

Carol - Admin assisstnat

Carol will be the first person pupils and parents may meet when they arrive at class. She is responsible for taking the register and class fees every sunday. With many years of expereince through fundraising commitees and previous work, before become a Mum to 2 of our teachers!!!!

All teaching staff have enhanced disclosures as well as basic first aid training and several years of experience in teaching dance with young children.
